These are photos from a removal project in a fine home in Eagle Point. First, we cover and protect the floors with dropcloths and install plastic sheeting on the built-in cabinetry. Then determine the proper method for the material on the wall. The key to successful wallpaper removal is understanding:

The material to be removed
The surface you are removing from and
The adhesive that was used.

On this particular removal I knew from past experience the answer to all three questions. As you can see, I'm removing this wallpaper from the bottom to the top, which is not typical but it's the method that worked the best in this situation. I usually need 15-30 minutes analyzing the clues present to know how I want to proceed. This large dining room from start to finish took 6 hours...and we're ready for something new!
